Current fees: £34p/h (MU rate)
I am keeping pace with the MU recommended rate, currently set at £34p/h for Sept 2018 – July 2019. All lesson fees are proportionally based on that. As a rough guide, expect an increase of 50p per lesson every year or so.
1, Terms and Conditions for weekly lessons in 30 min – 45 min slots, based around school terms. These are booked on a termly basis, and at a fixed time reserved for that pupil. You are booking that block of time from me, not individual lessons.
Cancellations: I will honour up to one cancellation per term. These lessons will be credited to the next term’s bill. Please let me know if you are going to miss a lesson.
Rearrangements: If necessary, I will try to rearrange a lesson for you, however, I cannot guarantee that I will be able to find a mutually convenient time. If I can’t, then the original missed lesson is still payable (it can be counted as your one cancellation for that term, and be carried to next term as above). I am happy for you to swap lessons with another pupil if that suits you both.
Payment: I will invoice at the start of term, and I request payment by half term. I reserve the right to refuse lessons if payment is not forthcoming.
** I will always refund any lessons that I need to cancel **
Finishing lessons with me: I request half a term’s notice if you wish to cancel ongoing lessons.
2, Terms and Conditions for ad hoc lessons in 60 min slots booked on a first come first served basis. These are booked as and when, on a first come first served basis. I try to find a regular time slot for each person. These can be cancelled or rearranged up to 48 hours in advance, but at less than 48 hours then full fee is still payable.
** Lessons that I need to cancel will not be charged for **
